If I could give no stars, I would. DO NOT take your loved one to this vet! Drive 10 miles and go to Gothenburg or Lexington! I have a cat that was very ill, eating well but throwing up multiple times a day. She was losing weight so rapidly, it was pretty horrifying. At a healthy weight, she is 11 pounds. She was 7.5 pounds at this clinic, ribs visible, and super greasy coat (I was bathing her once a month and that's a lot for an exclusively indoor cat.) THREE VISITS, no conclusions, except cats throw up all the time. No blood work, just temperature and weight.
They treat our old blind dog like one of their own. I always know he is in good hands!!
After that, I was obviously still very worried about my cat. I took her to Dr. Ryan O'Hare at the Eastside Animal Clinic in Gothenburg, and right away we did blood tests and he seemed concerned for my pet as well. Not even 15 minutes later, on a Saturday morning, he came out and told us that she has an overactive thyroid and the effects it has, the treatment options with prices and effectiveness, what problems could be underlying, and so much more.
Great place
Thank goodness I didn't listen to them. My cat would have probably died if I didn't listen to my gut instinct. They do not care, they just want money. Every appointment they made me feel like I was going crazy worrying about my cat. The appointments were less than 15 minutes for over $100 each.
